Today we meet the blogger Camille Co.

Hi Camille, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).

I’m Camille Co from Manila, Philippines. I’m a young designer/entrepreneur running my own line, Coexist. Last year, I also started my blog, itscamilleco.com. Aside from designing and blogging, I also style from time to time.

How would you define your style?

My style is versatile and young but sophisticated. I don’t like getting boxed into certain styles so I try my best to shake things up a bit from time to time–girly today, edgy the next. But no matter what look I’m in, I always try my best to look put-together and well-balanced.

What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?

Prior to having my own blog, I already had Chictopia and Lookbook.nu accounts but I always felt like I wanted to be able to share more. With my own blog, I have full control over everything so I decided to finally start one. Aside from my love for fashion, my readers are my greatest motivation. They always go out of their way to let me know they appreciate what I do. It feels great to know that I inspired them in my own little way.

How did you choose the name of your blog?

Haha! My blog name is probably the least creative blog name in the blogosphere! It’s just “Camille Tries To Blog”. When I was just about to start my blog, I myself was so hesitant if I really have what it takes to maintain one. Blogging entails so much time and effort and I really had no clue what to do!

Who/what inspires you?

So many things and people inspire me. I’m really observant so it’s easy for me to get inspiration from the most random places and things. My favorite inspiration usually comes from my travels.

What is your top fashion tip?

Wear fashion, not the other way around. No matter what it is you’re wearing, make sure it suits your body type.

What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?

Don’t do it for the wrong reasons like the money or the exposure. Do it because you have a passion for what you’re blogging about. You write for yourself first and foremost.

What importance do social networks have for you?

It’s really important because it allows me to broaden my reach. It allows me to interact with people from all sorts of places.

Your first thought in the morning?

Another chance to do something good out of my life!
