In this series, we’ve been interviewing some of our favorite fashion bloggers around the world, today our featured blogger is Martina of Deeply Diva from Italy.
Tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
I’m an italian girl mad with fashion and make up! In my life I’m a student and an actress, growing up in a lovely family and working hard every day to built my future.
How would you define your style?
Self-confident, confortable and chic without spending a lot of money!
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
I had a very bad period last year. I had troubles because of the work that it was really hard to find, here in Italy we have a deep economic crisis. I had to find something to fill my long days home…so I started blogging! And yhea, I was right: I smiled more, putted some make up on dressing better and little by little the things in my life improved.
How did you choose the name of your blog?
I really think that every girl should feel like a Diva. This because life sometimes it’s very hard, and we will feel better if we’ll face the problems of evert day with a little bit of grit, a big smile and some make up on!
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Of curse, jeans. I love them because I feel them confortable and perfect from day to night. The skinny jeans are the great invention of the century!! I love leggings too for the same reasons, and I have some super colored tee that make my mood fizzy!
What is your top fashion tip?
Wear thing that really reflect your mood, your way to live life and your way to be. You will never feel embarassed and when you will walk along the street you will seem a very happy and self-confident woman.
Your first thought in the morning?
What I will do today? I have to work? I have some appointment?
YES: Great!!! Let’s choose what to wear, have a shower and start this day!
NO?: ok, Let’s start to prepair some posts for the blog!
What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
I love to stay with people I care. Family and friends, without doing something special, I just enjoy their affection. It is important to have some people that really care about you, make you smile and have fun togheter.
For you, what is the world’s most fashionable city?
I’m living in Milan and here I see every days a lot of great streets style, but even London or New York are exciting city that inspire a lot of fashionable style.
What message do you hope to send to your readers?
The massage is: don’t worry!! Your life is full of problems? You don’t like your job? Having trouble with your boyfriend or family? Ok, all this things are bad, but please, try to don’t loose your smile. Wear some hills, put a lipstick on. This two thing will not solve your problems, but you will feel for sure far less sloppy and ugly compared to not doing it. And maybe you will find another boyfriend with that new dress that you decided to wear today!
