Julia, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
My name is Julia and I am a 21 year old student/dancer/blogger going to school at UOP in Stockton, CA. I am currently a senior Business major getting ready to graduate in a little over a month! After that I am moving to San Francisco with my fiancé and hope to pursue a career in marketing/fashion.
How would you define your style?
My style is very feminine, classic and colorful. I keep things pretty simple, but I love to constantly change things up.
How did you find your sense of style?
I don’t know if I have necessarily “found” my sense of style. It’s just kind of evolved over the years, and will continue in years to come. As I get older, I find myself loving more structured feminine things.
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
I originally started my blog as a place to share my favorite “fashion finds”. From there I started seeing how other bloggers were sharing their personal style and I wanted to as well. I think that I have a unique voice, especially as a student/blogger. Sharing something that means so much to me and getting to talk about fashion is what keeps me blogging. And the fact that people actually like what I share!
How did you choose the name of your blog?
It just sort of came to me! I definitely a girly-girl and I always love to add a bit of “glam” to my everyday look.
What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?
When girls email me just to tell me that I have inspired them or helped them in some way. There is no greater feeling than knowing you made a positive impact on someone.
Who/what inspires you?
Many things inspire me! I would say color inspires me the most. I love color and I love mixing colors. Lookbooks, designers, street style, bloggers, magazines, I get inspiration for everything around me.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Definitely the things that I know I will have in my closet forever:

What is your top fashion tip?
Simple is better. Also, don’t buy something unless you LOVE it.
What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
Write about something you are passionate about and it will show through your work.
What importance do social networks have for you?
I love social networks because it creates a way to interact with not only other people, but with brands and companies. It creates a whole new relationship between a brand and it’s followers. I think it’s a lot more personal and people love knowing the inside scoop of things.
Your first thought in the morning?
I want to go back to bed.
What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
Hang out with my fiancé or my friends. Or shopping 
For you, what is the world’s most fashionable city?
Paris!
How would you describe fashion in the city where you live?
It’s pretty casual and mundane. Let’s just say when I wear lipstick and heels…I get a lot of stares.
What message do you hope to send to your readers?
I hope to inspire them to be creative with their style and try new things. I also hope to inspire them to take the extra 15 minutes in their morning to put on something fabulous and feel great about themselves!
