In this series, we’ve been interviewing some of our favorite fashion bloggers around the world, today our featured bloggers are Catarina and Ferdinando of KateFP.
Tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
Hello, first of all, thank you so much to FashionBloggers & Giglio.com for your invitation, we’re really honored and we wanna congratulate you for your phenomenal work. Now, let’s present ourselves, we are KATEFP, a portuguese Fashion blog and website – http://katefp.blogspot.com, http://katefp.com created by me, Catarina de Anciães, freelance Fashion journalist (I already wrote for Vogue.pt, and also for Vogue Encyclo on Vogue.it for example) and my Boyfriend, Fernando Pimpão, who is the main blog photographer, et voilá, we are KATEFP it’s all about Fashion! So this interview’s answers is a mix of the KATEFP Team 
How would you define your style?
I consider my style very elegant, classic but with a modern twist, and also eclectic. My Boyfriend’s style is more relaxed, comfortable, but very trendy as well.
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
The ultimate inspiration was to create our own space, where we can be ourselves and express our creativity, our talent, our strong point of view spontaneously in Fashion. Well, the motivation is truly this passion, this love for Fashion, since ever and to inspire our lovely readers with our work.
How did you choose the name of your blog?
You probably already discovered 
It was really easy to choose the name actually: KATEFP is a mix of my nickname, Kate from Catarina, and my Boyfriend’s initials, FP from Fernando Pimpão.
Who/what inspires you?
What inspires us is mainly everyday life. But also, Fashion bloggers – streetsyle or personal – and also all the energy that surrounds Fashion, for example, if we enter in a store, some certain piece of clothing or jewelry could inspire us right? Or a specific situation, like this stylish woman walking down the street…we guess that everything in life is inspirational.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
My favorites pieces in my closet are my Chanel 2.55 bag that my Boyfriend offered me (Thank you again my Love!); my Louis Vuttion bags made my by dear Grandpa that worked for the maison (I didn’t told you yet, but my grandpa was a tailor and my grandma was a seamstress, so maybe that’s why her granddaughter born with this ultimate passion for La Mode ), some special jewelry offered by my dear parents and my everyday Tiffany bracelets with my Boyfriend’s name. In Pimpão’s closet has to be his amazing leather jackets, his watches collection…well, he says that likes everything in his wardrobe.
What is your top fashion tip?
It’s not a tip, is more an advice: Be true to yourself, in Fashion and in all aspects of your life. And in Fashion, always have fun, because Fashion allow us to express ourselves in so many beautiful ways.
What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
If you love Fashion or any other subject with all your heart, if you are hard working and motivated, follow your passion and create your own blog now. To maintain a blog is necessary very hard work, persistency, in order to show your talent to the world. Also, be original and always be honest to your readers, show them your unique and fantastic personality.
Your first thought in the morning?
For Catarina is Pimpão and for Pimpão is Catarina, this first morning thought is a permanent thought all day of course, you know, we are such a soft hearts *.*
What message do you hope to send to your readers?
We hope to inspire our lovely readers and make them feel that they can join us in the Fashion part of our life. We really want to turn this passion of ours in a career where hopefully our readers can collaborate with us.
