Today we meet Martina, the italian blogger of Glamour Marmalade.
Martina, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
My name’s Martina and I’m 25 years old. I live in Gubbio, a small city in the centre of Italy.
I have a fashion blog called Glamour Marmalade where I talk every day about mode, life, make up and more. I’m not shy and very passionate!
What is your style like?
It’s simple, casual but never common. It’s of a good taste.
How did you discover your talent for style?
I don’t know or I don’t remember it. I think that every woman has got a natural and inborn sense of style.
What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?
I’m very delighted when the readers consider me their icon. Glamour Marmalade is my diary where they can read my passions and interests. I love fashion (accessories, fashion week, make up,…) but I also like writing about life. So when I receive comments about my blog contents, I’m very pleased!
Who/what inspires you?
When I wake up in the morning it depends on the mood I’m in. I then decide what I’m going to wear::. One day I’m romantic or vintage and the next I’m very rock or sporty… Other days I’m smart or very glam! Therefore I change my style every day …
What are your favourite cloths in your wardrobe?
I can’t live without jeans! They are suitable for every occasion! In my wardrobe, there are black silk dresses, jeans blouse and gold pochette.
What is your top fashion tip?
You shouldn’t follow the fashion trend because style must be the expression of your soul… And you have to respect your body!
What do you do when you are not blogging?
I have other interests (cinema, theatre, dancing,…) but in particular I like to go out with my friends! Especially with my best friend Angela!
What’s in your opinion the city where fashion is the most important factor?
Every city has got a particular style. So Paris is the place of elegance, I like Milan for its creative wit, London for its transgression, New York for its anti conformism . I prefer Milan… without any doubt.
What would you like to transmit to your readers?
Fashion is the expression of your soul and your creativity.
