Meet the Fashion Bloggers Keep in Touch with Fashion

22 enero 2014

Today we meet Jeasmine, the italian blogger of Keep in touch with Fashion.

Jeasmine, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).

My name is Jeasmine incoglia, I’m from Naples, a young student of Business administration with a great passion for fashion, I’ve been working for almost three years for a fashion Management Agency, where I am charge of the distribution of some brands, to style the outfits for the models, and I also work as a freelance buyer.

How would you define your style?

Personal, elegant, refined for the different occasions, I could not stand to look out of place!

What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?

The idea just started 4 months ago, fashion is a big passion …I design, sew and cut clothes since childhood!

How did you choose the name of your blog?

Actually it was not an easy choice, all the names I liked were unavailable, “keep in touch with fashion” has been choosed by me and my sister, we both thought about a blog that does not speak only about myself but also about trends and news.

What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?

One of my lovely follower dedicated me some words of Riccardo Bacchelli “any person who makes you to think how much costs the clothes is wearing, it’s not able to wear it “.

Who/what inspires you?

Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy and Grace Kelly for their outstanding class and flawless elegance, but I read a lot of fashion magazines too, and it’s where I find many of my daily inspirations for the outfits and of course participating to fashion shows and collection’s previews.

What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?

My favourite pieces are a long jersey and silk yellow dress, with a particular cut on the back, byGaetano Navarra, the long multi colors skirt I’ve worn for the celebration of my 25 years birthday from the “Ferragamo’s creations,” the Burberry trench coat a passepartout for every occasion, the maxi bag in croc print with gold details by Jimmy Choo and of course my biggest passion, all my shoes!

Your first thought in the morning?

Try not to be late at work! I really care of being punctual! Sometimes I wake up on Saturday or Sunday completely sure to be running late to work!

For you, what is the world’s most fashionable city?

I have different perceptions of the cities. The London street-style, New York the cosmopolitan city of the blinding lights , L’ Houte Couture Parisiennne and Milan easy&chic, they have different sense of style, definitely I would choose the romantic Paris, where I lived for about 1 year.

What message do you hope to send to your readers?

To keep in touch with fashion, latest trends and the must-have accessories, but reinterpreting it. Would be very boring to see a lot of people wearing clothes according only to “rules” of fashion designers, fashion has to be customized.
