In this series, we’ve been interviewing some of our favorite fashion bloggers around the world, today our featured blogger is Manuella of Let’s talk about Fashion.
Hi Manuella, Tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
Hi, Im Manuella and im the blogger behind the “Lets talk about fashion” blog. I am from Romania but i hope that soon i will be able to move to Paris or Rome along with all my dreams and wishes.
How would you define your style?
I adopt my outfits according to the morning mood and this brings a lot of differences in what i wear.If in one morning i want to wear a fancy dress with a pair of high heels, the next one is possible to prefer a large t-shirt with some ripped jeans. I think is important to feel good and confident in what i wear no matter what influences the outfit has( romantic, rock etc) because i cant fit myself in only one style. I love to play with the trends but as a general characteristic, my outfits have a touch of femininity.
How did you find your sense of style?
I think that ive always had this sense of style,we all wore our moms shoes and clothes at some point in our childhood, but time played a big role and during years some changes were made regarding my style.
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
1 year and a half ago i felt the need to have my own place where i can share my thoughts and my style so thats how ive decided to start my own blog. The answer to what motivates me to keep blogging is very simple: My readers … because without their support and without their lovely comments probably i would have stopped a long time ago. A blog without readers is a dead one, they keep our desire to post alive with their desire of reading and be inspired my us. So what else can motivates me more than this?!
How did you choose the name of your blog?
Maybe the name of my blog is not so inspired, but if you have any idea i wait for your suggestions …
Who/what inspires you?
I found my inspiration in many things: Fashion shows, fashion bloggers, weather, moods, people on the streets and so on. Important is to open your eyes because inspiration can be found everywhere and in everything.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Right now im completely in love with my brown leather jacket from Guess, because the leather…oh the leather is so soft and smooth ♥ and also with a pair of sandals Versace for H&M that ive never got the chance to wear them due to thwcold weather. But all in all i felt in love with all the items in my wardrobe at the moment of acquiring them so all of them are special.
What is your top fashion tip?
Well, i think i was a bit hurried…Ive said something from the beginning but doesnt matter. When it comes to fashion there are some basic rules, if they dont suit you, break them, just keep in mind that less is more. And i say this because we have to follow our style and reinvent it according to the newest trends and not to wear something just because its trendy.
What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
Is not so hard to start a blog and all you need is dedication and to enjoy what youre doing because when you do this is impossible to go wrong.
What importance do social networks have for you?
Social networks are vital especially at the beginning because it is an important source of readers. The blog gain exposure and visibility. So i highly recommend the use of different social networks like Facebook, Lookbook, Chictopia etc.
Your first thought in the morning?
“What should i wear today?”
What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
When not blogging i also have to go to College and also to work as a model. After this there is not so much free time but i always enjoy to watch a good movie and to spend time with my friends…shopping included , haha!!
For you, what is the world’s most fashionable city?
Paris, romantic, elegant and chic. Of course we cant exclude Milano or New York, but still Paris is my favorite.
How would you describe fashion in the city where you live?
Fashion in my city i think is still developing. People here still have to learn how to be brave and to wear what they want without deduction and without thinking “what they will think if i will go outside like this?”. Since ive started my blog ive had the chance to meet some special people with a great sense of style and i think that the ones that still dont have the courage should draw inspiration from them.
What message do you hope to send to your readers?
Thank you for everything and keep being wonderful and fashionable ♥
