Fabiola, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
My name is Fabíola Carlettis, I’m 23, I’m portuguese, I’m a journalist and a fashion blogger.
How would you define your style?
Sometimes it’s more classic, other times more rock’n'roll… But black is definitely my colour!
How did you find your sense of style?
My style depends on my mood.
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
I really love fashion and I love to write, and with my blog – Cutting Edge – I can do both.
How did you choose the name of your blog?
I’ve always liked and used a lot the english expression “cutting edge” to describe something avant-garde, pioneer, revolutionary, trendy… and that’s what I want my blog to be.
What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?
Everytime a reader says that I inspire them, I feel great and I feel that my work and passion for Cutting Edge is recognized.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Winter: I can’t live without black leggings, UGG boots and a leather jacket. Summer: Denim shorts, blouses and sandals.
What is your top fashion tip?
“Less is More”
What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
Be creative, be one of a kind and chase your goals!
Your first thought in the morning?
“What am I going to wear??!”
What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
Going to the cinema, shopping or go to the shops to be inspired to blogging later, read, read other blogs.
