Anna, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
My name is Anna Theresa Winkler and I’m 20. I was born in Vienna, grew up in Germany and the UK. Started Economics in Maastricht (didn’t like both) and now study Journalism/Fashion Marketing in London (and love both).
How would you define your style?
Style is a question of personality. Lean, mean and always with a twist.
How did you find your sense of style?
“Baby, I was born this way” (and genes can be a curse but also a blessing).
What inspired you to start a style blog? What motivates you to keep blogging?
2 weeks at Les Mads and Julia (founder).
I have a deep urge to express myself through words (and posing) and share this publicly – out of a sense of mission, not exhibitionism. Appreciation is the driver.
How did you choose the name of your blog?
Pulcinella: Queen of Mean in Commedia dell’ Arte.
What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?
“I love your writing.Refreshing and honest!”
Who/what inspires you?
Determined people.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Things I could wear every day.
What is your top fashion tip?
Confidence and passion are the keys. Everything else is secondary.
What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
Love what you do and do what you love.
What importance do social networks have for you?
Helpful, interesting and important but far away from everything.
Your first thought in the morning?
I’m hungry.
What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
Cocooning.
For you, what is the world’s most fashionable city?
London, what else?!
What message do you hope to send to your readers?
Have an opinion, be yourself and stay hungry (- other than in the morning).
