Meet the Fashion Bloggers: Vienna Wedekind

Today we meet Carola of Vienna Wedekind.

Hi Carola, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).

I’m an Austrian-based actress named Carola. I studied performing arts & photography and work for TV/Movies and Theatres.

How did you find your sense of style?

I don’t know if I’ve already found my style. I’m still experimentating – I think that’s what fashion is about. Your clothes mirror your personality and your mood and I love to play with that. There is nothing worse than boredom! Fashion is a giant playground and I’m kind of a curious 5-year-old.

What inspired you to start a style blog? (What motivates you to keep blogging?)

During my acting class I hardly focussed on fashion & photography . So I needed a reason to grab my cam and take some pictures. After graduation I thought people might be interested in what’s an actress life is about. So I started taking pictures on Movie Sets and captured my daily life – Vienna Wedekind was born! Fashion is a big part of my business and private life.

How did you choose the name of your blog?

Vienna is my current hometown I really fell in love with and Frank Wedekind is a well-known german dramatist.

What was the best comment you ever received from a reader?

I can’t name just one! All the lovely, cheerful words you give me and your support: that means a lot to me!

Who/what inspires you?

My job as actress/movies/magazines/people around me.

What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?

At the moment: my Diesel biker jacket, all kinds of denim shorts and of course my rings. Never leaving the house without a bunch of rings!

What importance do social networks have for you?

A blogger needs to network to spread his ideas and inspirations. It’s good fun to share my Instagram pictures on the Facebook Fanpage = social network perfection! Haha!
