Matteo Gatti

Director

Matteo Gatti was born in Sesto San Giovanni (MI) on August 29th, 1972 and graduated in financial economic intermediaries at the Catholic University of Milan in 1997. He began his career with an internship in 1997 as a Junior Analyst at Aputas Capital Co. in Vancouver, before joining Advance Srl, a consulting and analysis company for private equity funds as an Investment Analyst (1998-2000), where he also became Executive Director and partner in 2000. From 2000 to 2008 he was Director equity at Tamburi Investment Partners SpA, an investment/merchant bank listed on the stock exchange since 2005, specializing in public/private equity investments. From 2000 to 2003 he was also Deputy Director of Tamburi & Associati, where he gained experience in numerous M&A transactions, and since 2005 he has been the creator and promoter of SecondTip S.p.A., an Italian investment company in secondary private equity.

From June 2008 to 2016 he was the founder and president of Equilybra Capital Partners S.p.a., a holding company, specialized in investments in SMEs, and since 2016 he has been the founder and president of Equilybra S.p.A., a holding company active in investments in SMEs.
